As we all know, the Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot (RNIP) is a community-driven pilot program. It’s designed to attract skilled immigrants to rural northern communities. The main purpose of this program is to animate financial development in the participating communities of this immigration pilot program. An area bounded by a radius of 45 km centered on latitude 46°18′31.4″ North and longitude 79°27′45.4″ West is considered as eligible designated area of North Bay for this program. Officially, the Pilot Program in North Bay has started on the January 1st of 2020. But, the Chamber of Commerce has sent an email to interested candidates stating that they are still waiting for Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to get signed by Immigration Refugees Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
